Location: Gateway Community Room in Kalispell.
Ted will walk participants through the unit he developed for students to explore the details of the world around them and create a series of works to better understand the environment in which they live. They will learn about the Important role that nature journaling has played throughout history – both as an artistic endeavor as well as a scientific necessity. The primary format of the artwork created will be a nature sketch journal. They will also participate in a collaborative art making project where they create “trees for the forest.” Sign up through the PIR network
