Montana Students on the Land: $300 Travel Grants for FieldTrips
Field trips to public and tribal lands across Montana made more accessible for educators and students.
How to Apply for a Grant:
Just complete a Montana Students on the Land Travel Grant Application. Applications are reviewed monthly, and grants will continue to be awarded as long as funds are available.
About the Travel Grants:
The Montana Environmental Education Association, in partnership with Glacier National Park, is once again offering $300 travel grants to help offset transportation costs.
Key Details:
– Field trips must take place by June 1, 2026.
– Trips must visit a public or tribal land site.
– A short post-visit report and photo are required after your trip.
Preference will be given to applicants that:
– Plan a three-part experience: pre-visit lesson, field day, and post-visit activity.
– Teach at a Title 1 school during the 2025–26 school year.
– Work primarily with fourth grade students.
– Are located in underrepresented geographic areas across Montana.
