Site Description:
The 45 acres of Loon Lake are nestled in the Mission Mountain Range. The lake is home to many different types of fish and other aquatic wildlife. The camp is home to Flathead County 4H clubs; however, it also may be utilized for educational programs. The lodge and cabins offer overnight facilities for these programs.
Trails and Terrain:
No official trails are maintained. There is a steep grade to the lake.
Wildlife Present:
A variety of aquatic and forest wildlife are commonly present.
On-Site Educational Programs:
Self-guided educational programs are welcome and may be arranged with the camp manager.
Seasons:
Loon Lake and Loon Lake 4H Camp are accessible from the Loon Lake road. There is a short walk from the parking lot to the lake.
There is some disabled access. The camp lodge and cabins are wheelchair accessible. The lake is accessible from the boat ramp.

Parking and Entrance to Site:
From Highway 209, turn south on South Ferndale Drive. Turn left onto Loon Lake Road. The road ends at the lake.
The public parking area is limited in its parking spaces. The camp has ample parking.

Lodge, cabins, restrooms, picnic area and docks are available on the camp side of the Loon Lake.
