Come experience the unexpected as we hike the geologically unique and stunning Highline Trail.
|
Sit on the shore of a 1.5 billion year old sea. Hold the remains of fossilized ancient algae, one of the earth’s first life forms, in the palm of your hand. Walk in the carved out paths of massive ice sheets. Come experience the unexpected as we hike the geologically unique and stunning Highline Trail. We’ll walk on the continental divide on one of Glacier’s most spectacular trails and learn how this breathtaking landscape came to be. Our route along the Highline Trail will take us to Haystack Butte, about seven miles with 1,000 feet elevation gain and loss.
