Basketry is one of the oldest known crafts providing inspiration for both pottery and cloth weaving. Join us as we follow the basket making process from identification and harvesting of several types of materials to the creation of beautiful baskets. You will learn the simple and elegant techniques of plaiting, twining and coiling.
