The updated version of the Flathead Watershed Sourcebook CDs are now available from the Flathead Conservation District Office. Go to our resources page to preview the information on the CD. Then Contact Patti Mason at the Flathead Conservation District to get a copy of this amazing CD!
15th Annual Water Summit Register by 3/25/2013
Montana Watercourse is holding their 15th Annual Water Summit this year near Glacier National Park, May 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2013. The Water Summit brings together a select group of students and teachers from across the state of Montana to learn about current water issues. Speakers from government, education, and for-profit sectors will share information and hands-on activities related to the theme of this year’s Water Summit, hydraulic fracturing . Students will heighten their understanding of water issues in the state and build leadership skills.
Come participate in a natural resources learning experience for middle and high school students that addresses current water issues in Montana. The theme of this year’s Summit is hydraulic fracturing. Teachers and students will learn about the ecologic, economic, and cultural issues surrounding the topic of hydraulic fracturing in Montana through lectures, discussions, field trips, and hands-on group activities.
